That post audition feeling is a bit like the post competition feeling; you've put the effort in, you've done all you can, now you just have to move on and focus on the next one.
It also means that you gotta treat yourself to a tasty snack, right?
Today was no different. As I left the Spotlight studios in the middle of London's busy West End, I found myself making a mental inventory of what food I had packed into my bag in the early hours of that morning; tangerine; Matrix ISO Soya Protein Shake and some nuts. Although they would have been great, I managed to justify to myself that I needed to get something more.
Arriving at Paddington train station, I was delighted to discover 'Leon' hovering above the concourse. It was on!
A warm falafal wrap, perfect for a hungry vegan gal who needs a treat on a cold day. If I was you, I would go there now and try it! Soft falafal, tasty sauce, comforting wrap...
Oh but that's not all (I hope you're sitting down) a peanut butter and jelly brownie! Oh yes!
It really was as good as it sounds too. I've since discovered (thanks to Instagram and reciprocal tagging) that 'Ruby's Of London' are the providers of this exquisite vegan delight. They are a London based, award winning, vegan bakery, specialising in wheat, gluten and sugar free products, achieving this with no loss of flavour or aesthetic pleasures! I highly recommend checking them out. Let me know which other ones you try!
Now, Christmas is fast approaching, so therefore, Santa, if you're listening, please stop by 'Rubys Of London' en route to mine this year!
